It seems that Sam Raimi (Director of Spider-man) and his film company Buckaroo Entertainment have acquired the rights to The Shadow.
This will not be the first time The Shadow has seen the silver screen. He was played by Alec Baldwin in the early 90's.
It is currently unclear whether this film is meant to be some kind of sequel or whether it will be its own entity.
